Church Planting as a Strategy for Church Growth in Mfou Seventh-day Adventist Church District, Cameroon

Abstract

Church growth is a divine-human process empowered by the Holy Spirit. Several strategies have produced different results. Accordingly, many scholars consider church planting as an effective church growth strategy. Considering this assertion, the present work was focused on church planting as a strategy for church growth in Mfou Seventh-day Adventist District. The analysis of the problem is based on the literature review of the concepts of church growth and church planting, the biblical and theological analysis. This particular study suggests “Churgrology,” for Mfou District of SDA Church. The study results are built around sustainable church planting, growth, cooperation, kids and youths, families’ and houses, and communities cooperation for church planting growth.
