dc.description.abstractThis research highlights the complexities and challenges of interpreting and applying Ellen White’s writings in the African context. The study offers practical ways for African Adventists to contextualize Ellen G. White’s writings, making them relevant to their local settings. The article argues that a more nuanced understanding of her writings, considering the context, and focusing on sola Scriptura and a faithful study of her writings, is essential. This research aims to contribute to a more inclusive and contextualized understanding of Ellen G. White’s writings in Africa, promoting a more empowering approach to Adventist mission and ministry on the continent.
