The purpose of the study was therefore to develop a workable chaplaincy service in Nyacyina Secondary School. To address this issue, qualitative and quantitative approaches were used. A descriptive survey design based on the questionnaire, interview and focus group discussion was used to collect data from teachers, school administrators, students, and parents to fulfill the purpose of the study. The findings revealed that most respondents either do not understand chaplaincy and its role in the school, either do not know anything about it. Therefore, there was a need to conduct a seminar on the meaning and the role of chaplaincy. The study recommended to hire a school chaplain.enChaplaincySecondary school ministrySpiritual nurturePastoral careDiscipleshipAdventist educationRwandaA Development of a Workable Chaplaincy Service in Nyacyina Secondary School, RwandaThesis
